In addition, when I try to compile v_sim with python bindings alone (ignoring the ABINIT error messages), it says I lack "plane_py.h"

Having done as instructed, build_prod compiled and made fine. Build_lib did so as well (with disable-etsf-io), but v_sim still gives the same error, even if i compile it with mpicc. Interestingly enough, the configure script for v_sim doesn't seem to recognize any changes that I make to the FC_MOD_C...

Hi all, gfortran > 4.2, intel Core 2 Duo, ubuntu lucid. abinit 6.0.4 compiles and runs fine with default options, it i am trying to bind it to v_sim3.5.1.
