Dear All,
The problem still appears when compiling Abinit 8.10.3 on Ubuntu 18.04 with gfortran 7.4.0 and openmpi 3.1.0-3ubuntu1. Using Xavier's patch or commenting lines in m_libpaw_mpi.F90 did not help.
However, I succeeded to install Abinit 8.10.2 with original m_libpaw_mpi.F90

Dear Matthieu, Thank you for response. I followed your advices, setting even higher number of unoccupied bands and nbdbuf. Moreover, I used higher ecut, pawecutdg and denser k grid (the same as for structure relaxation, which was repeated using tolmxf 1.d-10). Now all the steps are converged and the...
