Re: PAW band structure with spin orbit coupling
Thanks, gmatteo! When I use prtden=1, the calculation runs successfully. However, I see no change in the band structure compared to the non-spin orbit coupling case (I expect the spin orbit coupling to split a few of the degenerate bands). I will double-check my input file, but just to verify: with ...

PAW band structure with spin orbit coupling
Hi, I would like to calculate a band structure with spin orbit coupling included. I am using the GGA-PBE PAW datasets available from m. In addition to the standard variables defining the crystal structure, my input file includes the following to compute the band structure and specify the use of spin...

No spaces between energies in band structure output
Hi, I'm calculating the band structure of WS2, but in the output file, there is no space between the first two energies listed for any of the k-points. For example: kpt# 1, nband= 26, wtk= 1.00000, kpt= 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 (reduced coord) -567.79173-567.03922 -15.32297 -15.24286 -13.37412 -13.18934...

Re: Segfault when linking with Wannier90
I've added that line to my config file and recompiled. I've attached the log file from running the first part of the Wannier90 tutorial. For reference, this is my config file: with_trio_flavor="netcdf+etsf_io" with_etsf_io_incs="-I/opt/local/include/gcc" with_netcdf_incs="-I...

Re: Trouble linking to fftw3
Thanks for your input! I've submitted a post to the 'link to other codes' section and I will look into whether or not I selected fftw-3 during compilation of wannier90 (although I don't believe I did).

Re: Trouble linking to fftw3
Thank you for your replies. Torrent- I have tried installing it as a Macports package using that command, and it installs properly as long as I don't try and link with fftw3. However, if I try to install it with macports using 'sudo port install abinit +fftw3' then I receive the same error that I ge...

Re: libxc error during make [SOLVED]
Hi, Thank you for your help! I have compiled libxc using macports, which was successful. When I try compiling, I receive the error that external libxc support does not work. I have attached the config.log file. At one point in the log file, it says: Fatal Error: Wrong module version '10' (expected '...
