error running lesson rf1

Post by hatuey » Fri Feb 11, 2011 6:22 pm

Dear all,

I was running lesson rf1, part 2 and I am getting the following in the output file:

- hdr_check: checking restart file header for consistency -

current calculation restart file
------------------- ------------

calculation expects a wf_planewave | input file contains a wf_planewave
. ABINIT code version 6.4.3 | ABINIT code version ^@^@^@^@^@^@

hdr_check: BUG -
input fform= 2 differs from disk file fform= 0.
Action : contact ABINIT group.

.Delivered 1 WARNINGs and 2 COMMENTs to log file.

leave_new : decision taken to exit ...

Any ideas?

Regards,

Hatuey

your file is probably absent. Check if it is present but with size 0 - in that case you forgot to copy it from a previous calculation or dataset.

Otherwise it could be corrupt. Try reading it with cut3d to check, or re-running your ground state etc...

Dear sir,

I have the same error in this lesson.

When I finish the trf1_1, I obtain the "trf1_1o_WFK" and it was a non-zero size file.
Then I copyed the "trf1_2.in" in the same directory and run. The same error was appered.

Could you give me some suggestion? Thank you!

did you copied trf1_lo_WFK to trf1_2i_WFK?
