Hello, everyone,

I am trying to build ABINIT for the first time. I am working on 9.2.1, and I noticed that "configure" file is missing in the install package tar.gz file. Do I need to copy one from an older version, say 9.0.4? Thanks a lot.

Where did you download the tarball?

The configure script is present !

Oh, thanks a lot. I downloaded from github.

The tarball available on github do not contain the configure script
One has to generate it by executing ~abinit/config/scripts/makemake (requires python).
