How To change Fermi Level/ Occupation manually?

Post by ljludwig » Sat Dec 07, 2013 7:39 pm

Dear All:

In Abinit, is it possible to tune the Fermi Level or electronic occupation manually? If this can be done, the electronic doping, such as voltage gating, can be described.

Thanks a lot!

Hi!

You can manually input band occupation using occ variable

http://www.abinit.org/documentation/helpfiles/for-v7.4/input_variables/vargs.html#occ

Don't know about the Fermi level.
