question about atomic unit of the dielectric tensor

Post by 583564111 » Tue Jul 26, 2011 6:55 am

dear users:
Recently, i have calculated the electronic dielectric tensor and i want to analyse the ionic contribution to the Low-frequency dielectric permittivity tensor .so i compute the mode-oscillator strength tensor Sm with the born effective charge tensor and eigendisplacement of atoms. However ,i dont know the unit of the obtained oscillator strength and the source of 1a.u=0.342036 m3/s2 which is referred to in many papers.
Thanks a lot!
