Error when I try to open a PWscf input file

Post by Elliot » Wed Oct 10, 2012 10:43 am

Hello,

When I try to open a PWscf input file it gives me the error. "Error: couldn't change working directory to "y/xc_2364": no such file or directory"

When I click on Details, it says
[couldn't change working directory to "y/xc_2464": no such file or directory
while executing "cd $system(SCRDIR) "
(command bound to event)]

NB: for each time I try to open an input file, the number attached to the quoted directory, "y/xc_2364", changes.

Thanks to my helpers in advance.

Hello,

I guess you might ask this in the PWscf forum or mailing list ? And even there, it seems to something more related to your operating system than to PWscf ...

Hello,

Ok thank you very mcuh david.waroquiers . but I think I might have not described my problem properly.

The file is a quantum espresso input file.

I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 64bit and I have quantum espresso and xcrysden installed.

I do hope this information is enough to help myself.

Thank you.
